Diwali Time ...

This weekend, the whole of india is goin to rock with the clamor of crackers, Cloying sweets, family get togethers and tv full of progs..Damn, missing the lovely festival which i used to cherish each and every year. Not only this time, but it happened so the last time when i was here in US, where people have only a tinge of a clue of what the great festival in India means.

I am writing this post simultaneously browsing through 100s of google links to see if there is any indian community gathering thats goin to happen. Hey..there i guess i found one...

Freaking in the US

Well..guess yet another time, i am signing in to record some spree of incidents. But of course, lots of things happened between the course of time from my earlier post.

At a time when i thought i will be making a conscious career choice of choosing between a MS and MBA, i received a call from my manager for a cup of tea. I as usual went to his cube with the premonition of an upcoming task or assignment. Of course, it happened to be exactly as i had thought, but for a change the place happened to my dear old San francisco, CA...Yipeee..i was actually jumping in joy inside, but decided that i will not show this up outside :). There was actually a mixed bag of feelings as i had the joy of leaving Bangalore and getting to a much comfortable lifestyle. On the other hand, i will be losing the festive atmosphere that is a trademark of Diwali. Damn, its becoming a habit to miss each and every diwali. I was here last time too.

From the day i landed, i decided that am goin to freak and enjoy to the core. I visited almost all the places that are like must see places here. The Fisherman's wharf, Chinatown, Indian bazaar :) etc etc.

The best part is that i bacame a pukka brahmin cook (nala damayandhi shtyle). Believe me, my roommates started liking the madras sambhar, rasam. Thanks to the lot many powders that i carried from home.

At work, things are always hectic and i try my best to sneak in to orkut or mail to stay in touch with my frineds..Got a little respite and hence thought of replenishing this blog partially...Don't worry, will come back sooner next time.
