Starting off...

Well suddenly it struck to me that i havent blogged for long. So jumped to it at once. This article is going to be very much unlike the previous articles which are upon general events and politics.

Let me go a bit retro. After nearly an year of service in a service based company in chennai, i left for bangalore on Jul 24th 2005 to join a proj in the same service based company. That early morning was very chill and cold with the zephyr blowing strong all over. My dad came along with me to drop me at the central railway station. The station was as usual buzzing with people running in all directions, and there were people scurrying to catch their respective trains. My train was scheduled at 7:30 AM. I had opted for the chair car coach and sharp at 7:30, train started moving towards the intended destination.

I for some reason felt very uncomfortable with that coach. Soon after the start, 2 middle aged persons occupied the seats beside me. They started talking in a language that was so esoteric to me. I accosted them and asked them about the language. They smiled and replied that its a variant of kannada and that they are from Mangalore. I now got interested and started to inquire about their lives. In turn those people were so amicable that they started narrating everything right from their family to business. Time passed like this for sometime. In the middle of the conversation, i just noticed a very familiar face to the seat in front of me. To my surprise, it was none other than the tamil background singer "Shrinivas". Please dont take it as PB shrinivas. This guy has a good voice and had done quite a number of pops and albums. I became very interested and was about to speak to him when i noticed that he was listening to music in what would be a $350 Ipod. He was seeking attention from the general public by flaunting the music device and by shaking his heads. I didnt like this behavior of his.

Things were serene for some time. Then turned back to the businessmen and started chatting again. In the middle of the talk, i was surprised to hear that one of those businessmen was from the same class as that of "John Kennedy Victor". If at all you are perplexed by that name, it is our star Tamil hero "Anniyan" alias vikram. He told me how they used to make fun of and pull the legs of victor. He also told me that vikram used to be very skiny at that time. After years of leaving college and inspite of all the fame, he keeps up the tradition of inviting all his mates for his birthday party every year.

Time passed on and the train neared the Bangalore City Junction. My good old dear friend sai had come up to the railway station to pick me up. We had a nice meal in a restaurant near his house. Since he had some work to do, i kept his luggage in his house and started towards my other friends who are nearby. At around 9.00 PM sai came with his car. We had dinner and then started to the place Electronic City.
